As a lifestyle and home editor who online shops for a living, there’s really no time of year that brings me joy like sale season. No, I’m not talking Black Friday or Cyber Monday — I’m talking those end-of-winter sales because that’s when all of the good stuff is actually on sale. It’s exhilarating!
Obviously, I’m keeping up with Nordstrom‘s truly unreal Winter Sale happening right now. From now until Feb. 27, shoppers can snag deals on top brands for up to 60% off. From bedding to fashion and more, the inventory is overwhelming.
There are so many items that I’ve had sitting in my cart but just couldn’t justify the prices of — until now. Coveted must-haves are now on sale and thus available in my price range, like the Barefoot Dreams throw blanket and Smeg toaster.

2. Five Two by Food52 Silicone Utensils, $29.40 (Orig. $49)
The wooden spoons that I got from my grandma right after graduating college have seen better days. Luckily, this five-piece silicone utensil set has everything I could ever need in the kitchen. They’re oven and dishwasher-safe, which is great because I’m the laziest and can’t be bothered to wash dishes by hand.

If you, like me, spend all of your time on #kitcheninspo Instagram, then you know how important it is to have your own Smeg appliance. This chic retro toaster features two extra-wide, extra-long slots and is going to look so freaking chic on my countertop. Toast never looked so good.

Obviously, I’m already obsessed with Alo’s activewear. So when I saw that Nordstrom majorly slashed the prices on a one-year membership to the super popular Alo Moves on-demand fitness platform, I immediately added it to my cart. This gift package is perfect for any fitness-loving friend or just for yourself. It features classes in mindfulness, fitness and wellness.
8. Cancelled Plans Student Loans Candle, $22.40 (Orig. $32)
I’m in love with this (very) relatable, Seattle-made scented candle consisting of hand-poured coconut and apricot wax. Plus, it gets a good laugh when your room fills with the scent of your burned loans.
